Itineraries
We really do mean it when we say you can “create your own adventure” but to see the best parks in the time you have available Climbing Kilimanjaro have created a “Best ” itinerary for everything from 1 day up to 6 days . If there is another itinerary you would like just let us know.

Best for one day
If you just have one day before leaving Kilimanjaro our one day trip to Arusha National Park is a great way to get a taste of an African Safari. Arusha Park is often overlooked but the park has a good number of elephants and larger game and of course has the most stunning views back towards Kilimanjaro.

Best for two days
In two days you can do a whistle stop tour of Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara Parks. Quite a lot of miles but the trip is worth it. Ngorongoro is often called the Garden of Eden or the 7th Natural Wonder of the World and has all of the “Big Five” within its caldera.

Best for three days
Our three day safari takes you to Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire Parks with the advantage of having a full day in Ngorongoro enjoying the animals from early morning to evening.

Best for four days
With four days available you can enjoy the southern circuit of safari parks in style, stopping and enjoying all of Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater with all the time in the world to just stop and stare. Our recommended choice if you have the time.

Best for five days
With five days or more you can comfortably reach the Serengeti National Park as well as everything covered in the four day trip. The Serengeti is the backdrop to the incredible wildebeest migration when over one million animals migrate through the area. Take the once in a lifetime opportunity to fly in a balloon and watch the wildlife from the air. NOT TO BE MISSED!

Best for six days
Our six day itinerary mirrors the five day trip with a full day added in the Serengeti – the park extends about 400 miles west and over 600 miles North and an extra day here gives you more time to catch the best spots wherever the migration has moved to.
