What our clients say
Phil, UK
The guides and porters were great and the food was really good. If anything there was perhaps a little too much food provided as it is not always easy to trek on full stomach. A couple of the meals were particularly sensational – namely the potato soup and one night we even had chips which was unexpected but amazing!

The guide staff was great! They all went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of and had a good time. I was especially pleased with my personal experience after meeting other groups and other guide teams. I can say, what began as a working relationship, ended in a personal friend relationship with the guide staff.

Thank you PK! We only received a packed lunch the first day, all other days we had a cooked meal prepared and served in the tent which was unexpected and brilliant. Richard, Praygod and the rest of the team were fantastic and really made sure we were looked after throughout the whole trek.

Again, the whole team was fantastic and I cannot find fault with anyone or anything. August is a person who takes tremendous pride in himself as a guide and in Kilimanjaro. He is enthusiastic about everything regarding Kili and always answered our questions with proper knowledge.

It was a truly wonderful trip! We had hot lunches almost every day, we didn’t see anyone else doing this and we are sure it helped us make it to the top. We did acclimatisation walks in the evening and had a fantastic mix of guides who really couldn’t have been better. The porters were all superstars – cheerful, friendly and super talented who always greeted us with a smile and even bought us juice on the way down from the summit.

My friend and I had a truly memorable trip. Although it was one of the hardest things we’ve ever done, there were so many experiences we will treasure, from the dramatic and changing scenery, and wonderful flora and fauna to the camaraderie of fellow climbers.

Everything on our Kilimanjaro climb was great! Praygod and Elias were absolutely wonderful guides – professional, knowledgeable, and personable. They made us feel very safe, but they also helped us to have fun.

We were very very happy with the whole trek and safari and we summitted as scheduled on my 70th birthday. Gaston was a great guide and he helped us a lot. We had rain the first 4 days but both Gaston and Living were always there to help us with the slippery terrain. The tents were great quality and gave us enough room to lay out our wet gear overnight which was a huge plus. We’d highly recommend the crater camp, on the night we were there we were the only team in the crater which was wonderful and we were among the first to summit at Uhuru peak the next morning.

Firstly, I would like to thank you all for organising such an amazing experience. You really seem to have picked the best of the bunch, and all your porters, drivers, guides etc, were delightful.

We were very impressed with Climbing Kilimanjaro from beginning to end and would recommend it to friends without question. In particular we were very impressed with our guides, the quality of food prepared by our chef and the overall standard of care provided by the whole team. We would like to make special mention of Richard who acted as our waiter for the trip and Daniel who took care of our private toilet! We were very pleased indeed. Thank you so much.
